Global Medical Response Appoints Nick Loporcaro as President and Chief Executive Officer

Loporcaro, the former CEO of Landmark Health, brings an outstanding track record of leading mission-critical and innovative healthcare companies to the market leader in mobile patient care and medical transportation.
Global Medical Response (“GMR”), the leading national integrated air and ground mobile patient care and transportation services provider, today announced that Nick Loporcaro has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), effective April 17, 2023. He will also join the GMR Board of Directors concurrent with his appointment.

About Nick Loporcaro

Nick Loporcaro was most recently the CEO of Landmark Health, a market leader of comprehensive medical care to chronically ill patients throughout the United States, until its successful transaction with UnitedHealth (Optum) in 2021.

Prior to Landmark, Nick spent nearly two decades at McKesson where he most recently served as the President of McKesson’s U.S. Pharma and Specialty Health businesses which represented $165 billion of revenues, where he led business development, sales, distribution, and operations across all markets. Prior to that, Nick was the President of McKesson Canada and held various other leadership positions within the organization during his tenure.

Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He is an active member of various healthcare boards and foundations and participates in community health events.
