AMR Orlando Debuts Breast Cancer Awareness Ambulance

American Medical Response (has unveiled its newest vehicle – a Ford Transit ambulance wrapped in pink for breast cancer awareness.
American Medical Response (AMR) today unveiled its newest vehicle – a Ford Transit ambulance wrapped in pink for breast cancer awareness. Yaima Acosta, AMR Orlando Operations Manager, said the crews are excited to show their support for the communities they serve.
“We’ve supported the cities of Orlando, Winter Garden and Windemere for many years, and this particular ambulance will be used for interfacility transports,” Acosta said. “We’re extremely proud to deploy this unit.”
AMR Orlando has more than 200 employees, including paramedics, EMTs and dispatchers. Acosta said the breast cancer awareness ambulance will rotate among the crews each month.
“This unit will be given to the paramedic or EMT of the month,” she said. “The ambulance will promote breast cancer awareness and it will also showcase our employee of the month.”
