Base Manager Doug Frane is celebrating 11 years of dedicated service, this September, at Guardian Flight in East Grand Forks, Minnesota
Guardian Flight Base Manager Doug Frane is celebrating a career milestone this month – 11 years of dedicated service. Frane joined Guardian Flight in September of 2012 as a flight paramedic before being promoted to base manager at the Grand Forks, North Dakota base, a role he has held for a decade.

“In my 11 years with Guardian Flight, I have witnessed a lot of growth in the company,” said Frane. “I enjoy the fact that despite the growth, our Midwest and Great Lakes bases can always rely on one another for staffing, supplies and great comradery.”

Frane attended Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN, obtaining an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paramedicine, graduating in May 1995. He started his air medical services career as a flight paramedic at the Guardian Flight base located in Williston when it was a fixed-wing operation.

“Doug's enthusiasm and dedication to his job are contagious,” said Robert Miller, regional director for Guardian Flight. “We are grateful for his leadership and commitment to our mission of providing care to the world at a moment’s notice.”
