Jeff Bragg, United States Army
Pilot, Med-Trans Corporation
For Jeff Bragg, joining the military was about answering a personal call to serve and challenging himself in a meaningful way. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1994, beginning what would become a 29-year career spanning both the Army and the Army National Guard. Jeff started as a 19K M1 armor crewman and, in 1998, earned his commission as an officer in the aviation branch.
Throughout his decades of service, Jeff experienced firsthand the dedication, teamwork and sense of purpose that come with serving one’s country. Among his most memorable experiences was deploying to Korea where he embraced the culture, food and travel opportunities. He attributes his many years in service to the strong bonds and trust formed while working alongside professionals who shared the same commitment.
After years of military service, Jeff transitioned into civilian life, though his dedication to helping others never wavered. Today, he serves as a Med-Trans’ Hospital Wing 6 pilot for Carroll County, a role he has proudly held since July 2025.
In his current position, Jeff plays an essential part in delivering care from the skies, ensuring patients and crew members are transported safely, efficiently and on time.
Jeff fondly recalls one mission in particular—a nighttime helicopter flight where he and his Hospital Wing 6 crew provided critical aid to a patient in need. Despite the challenging conditions, he and his team worked tirelessly to save a life. It was a moment that exemplified the calm under pressure that comes from years of military flight experience.

What appealed to you about working for GMR?
“The 7-on/7-off schedule gives me balance – time with my family, days on the farm, opportunities to travel, hunt and continue my leadership consulting work for high-performing companies.”
