Global Medical Response Announces Chief Human Resources Officer

Lisa Jacoba joins GMR's senior leadership team as company plans to integrate air and ground operations during 2020.
Global Medical Response (GMR), a leading provider of air and ground medical transportation and private fire services, has named Lisa Jacoba as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

“Lisa brings an exceptional combination of human resources knowledge and experience with organizations undergoing large-scale integrations, all of which are critical in the CHRO role at GMR,” said GMR CEO Randy Owen. He added the company is integrating its air and ground operations during 2020. “This integration is a tremendous effort that will require a leader with Lisa’s strategic planning focus and employee engagement expertise.”

Jacoba joins GMR from CPI Card Group in Littleton, Colorado, where she was the Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to that, she led Human Resources at Western Union’s B2B division and was senior vice president of HR for First Data’s Global Operations division. A seasoned HR leader, Jacoba has also held several other senior HR roles including heading up talent acquisition, workforce and succession planning and employee engagement. She earned a bachelor’s in human resources from Bellevue University.
